I think that I have seen enough, read enough, and heard enough to finally know that our United States of America is on the verge of sinking.

I mean really, we have our Automakers that are falling apart, our housing market failing, our banks closing, and the stock market that keeps losing. This is a matter of natural crisis and all the government can do is sit and have Senate hearings on this subject to decide if they should give the automakers money or not. {mind you this, after having to submit a plan of action to them}

I don't plan to be some finical advisor, nor does it seem like its rocket science here..all the money started to become a problem once the housing market fell below a certain standard. Then the Government decided it was going to put that money towards the housing market to help people with their houses. {Didn't plan to see what that would cause for the rest of the economy as price of gas was high, food was doubled, ect..) So people were getting into 1st time home loans with great rates, people that were over extended and about to loose their house were getting a break. In the meanwhile, the people that are struggling who don't get any help like my sister who owns a house and cannot get a break, or the people that know they cannot afford a house right now, let alone enough to get by (like me) who rent..get to keep paying in taxes on this. I don't recall a hearing on this and the Senate hearing saying "What about the tax payers" No, instead we only seem to hear this on our Automakers. Why is that?

I have seen enough business's in Michigan fail, as I am sure in the state you live in you have as well, but right now, It is so depressing to even get up in the morning. I am not one that likes to dwell on negative, but right now the negative is over weighing the greatness {as it seems so hard to come by}. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas, and Happy New Year..in case I don't hear from anyone. I have lost connection with some of my friends I have made online and I hope they are well. I will be posting again..I just wanted to get this all out now as I know the holiday's are approaching and everyone is busy.

Please take a moment if you don't like the way something is going in your state to look up your local official and write to him/or her and tell them how you feel. Its going to be a very hard 4yrs and we need all the voice we can get to keep everyone in line.

Incase you are not sure how to look up your local government offical I am attaching a link for you.

Where is the inner voice that cares?

I find it pretty hard to believe that there isn't a news caster that doesn't have the Balls to talk about the recent findings of Obama and his birth certificate. I just wonder why this is? How can the media who is supposed to deliver the news leave this important part of the future President out of the news?
In case you are not sure what I am talking about, and if your an active Obama supporter and this becomes something 'New' to you, I am only reporting it how I see it. ***{I am not the person out there discovering this information, It's been out and it just so happens the closer we get to January is how much more this comes to light in the Internet news}

"It's a scary thought to have someone who essentially begins his presidency as a criminal," he said, because the use of a faked document as identification is, in fact, a crime.."

There are a number of reasons why the respondents here would choose not to respond," Schreiber speculated. "First, because the court only grants between 70 and 120 of the 8,000 or so petitions it receives every year, perhaps they just liked their odds of Berg's petition getting denied. Second, because they have made arguments as to Berg's lack of standing several times at the district court level and beyond, perhaps they felt as though any arguments had already been made and were available on the record. Or, perhaps the waiver shows that the FEC and other respondents do not take seriously the allegations put forth by Berg, and did not wish to legitimize the claims with a response."

Why is this such a big deal? I hear things being said as "Well the people have spoken" for that I have to say, 'Do you think those same people would of spoken knowing that the person running for one of the most important role in the United States of American is NOT an American?' I usually get than an response of-- "That is just a stupid Law, and what better way to change it now." Are you serious? Is it just me that doesn't understand? Am, I totally old school in thinking this is in so many ways wrong? I guess we as Americans are in for some serious shit if that is what the majority think.
Sure why don't we just let Putin come over here, or better yet Chavez..and don't say its not the same thing..as it is. Either one of these two could come over here than and live in the United States and then they too can become the President of the United States. I am not comparing Obama to these two, I am only comparing the born in another country to get the idea behind it. If that isn't understood than so be it.

Where is the spirt of Christmas?

I am sure most of you have heard of the tragic death of the Wal Mart employee..I cannot believe that we have let ourselfs buy into the ads and bargins to the point of death, and not give a damn.
I don't care if that item is going to be for a 1$ I am not going to stand in a line in the freezing cold, waiting with thousands of people with a chance of a rat race to get that item..knowing there is only going to be so many items sold at the store by me. This is excatlly what this shopping has become, a RAT RACE!!
I am just sick about this, and people please don't get caught up in all this..please don't.

Automotive in the U.S Please Take Action

The U.S. economy is at a crossroads with all the credit crisis!!! I would like to take a minute to give you some information that isn't being forced fed to you by the media. I work for one of the big 3 auto makers(not directly, but never-less it would have a huge affect on many just like me) and I have to say that a lot of the information that has been going around is really getting twisted from the media. Please visit http://gmfactsandfiction.com/ for more information on what is called a bailout!!{Which is actually a LOAN Not a bailout} Then please take a moment to please write your state/government Representatives and senators requesting to take a positive action on the loan that the Automakers need to survive. There should be a place on the side for you all to click on the side as Concerned American.

Facts-- 1 in 10 American Jobs depends on U.S. automakers
The consequences of the domestic auto industry collapsing would far exceed the $25billion loan needed to bride the current crisis.
Nearly 3 million jobs are at immediate risk
U.S personal income could be reduced by $150 billion
The Tax revenue lost over 3 years would be more than $156 billion
GM has cut its payroll drastically, by 45.8 percent in the U.S. alone since 2000. In fact, GM is far from the largest employer in the industry. With 252,000 employees worldwide, GM ranks fifth overall behind Volkswagen (373,400 employees,) Renault/Nissan (316,121 employees,) Toyota (316,121 employees) and Daimler (272,382 employees). Yet GM sold more vehicles worldwide last year than any other automaker.

When I see of all the countries around the world that the United States is helping to rebuild after a war, or otherwise. I just wonder why we cannot help our own United States? I don't know where we all went wrong in this, but for the Automakers to ask the government for help has to come with some shame. I don't know what the right answer is to all of this, (maybe the government to release the cap so companies can get a loan) but I do know that General Motors helped out a lot during World War 2 and help in more ways that anyone could imagine. Not to mention all the money that General Motors gives in charity. There is a lot of talk going on about this, and I really hate to have this based on a scare tactic oppose to some truths. I don't believe that the American People should have to pay for this, and from the web site provided it does show that it would be a loan to pay back...not a bail out as what we just went through. I know I don't have all the answers, but I am willing to listen to others and their views. Again, the link I have provide has some facts and myths and a lot more information.

Common Sense isn't so common anymore is it??

I have been doing a lot of research lately, and a lot of reading comes with that. I must say that I am very ticked off at this political race and what it has become. I have no more answers than I did 4yrs ago, and I sure as hell am not happy about how the media portrays this one person, as if he is the 'Only' person running for office.

Words from Robert Taft: "When I say liberty I do not simply mean what is referred to as "free Enterprise" I man liberty of the individual to THINK his own thoughts an live his own life as he desires to think and to live; the liberty of the family to decide how they wish to live, what they want to wat for breakfast and for dinner, and how they wish to spend their time; liberty of a man to develop his ideas and get other people to teach those ideas, if he can convince them that they have some value to the world; liberty of every local community to decide how its children shall be educated, how its local services shall be run, and who its local leaders shall be; liberty of a man to choose his own occupation, and liberty of a man to run his own business as he thinks it ought to be run, as long as does not interfere with the right of other people to do the same thing"

I ran across this, and thought dang, this is common sense..yet I don't hear anyone talking about that..are we so blind that we are missing the importance once again of our history? Our Founding Fathers {Which I have spoke of many of times on my blogs} gave us advise time and time again, is there some reason we are ignoring that?
What about the Constitution? What about how the power of the executive branch and how the power has far expanded beyond what The Framer of the Constitution thought of? It was a matter of making a society after all..so we were not ruled by Kings and a matter of limit the federal government control.
I am just a simple American who is looking at the common sense of the history that is out there and see that even the media wants to go ga-ga over someone running for president, instead of asking the common sense questions.
